TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

AIRLINES

ISPE has secured special discounts with several airlines (Air Canada, United, & US Airways) for the 17th ICPE. The discount and applicable restrictions must be met, and seats are limited. Discounts apply to flights in North America only.

  2. Call Travel-On, ISPE's official travel agent, at 1-888-495-7770 or 240-387-4200. There is a $20 service fee per ticket issued by Travel-On.
Book early to take advantage of the discounts.


GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Travel by air will be to the Lester B. Pearson International Airport, which is approximately 30-40 minutes (non rush hour) by taxi from the Sheraton Centre. Most cabbies take credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AmEx); ask before you enter the cab. Most taxi companies offer flat rates to and from the airport. A one-way trip on the meter is about $40 (Canadian) with tip. Try to avoid rush hour traffic.

Airport Express buses run continual shuttle routes between Pearson International Airport and the downtown area hotels. A one-way fare is $12.50 (Canadian; subject to change).


ENTRY INTO CANADA

FROM THE UNITED STATES: Citizens and legal residents of the U.S. do not need passports, though they are preferred. Native-born U.S. citizens should have birth certificate, plus photo I.D.; naturalized citizens need naturalization certificates with photo I.D.; permanent residents (who are not citizens) need the alien-registration card.

FROM COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THE UNITED STATES: Visitors from countries other than the U.S. must have a valid passport, and a visa may be required.
