Dynamic Earth offers a totally new concept in visitor entertainment. It combines the very latest interpretative technology and special effects with cutting edge scientific thinking. It will take you on a fascinating, ever-changing journey around planet Earth. You will travel back through time to witness the Big Bang. You will experience earthquakes, ice ages and tropical rainstorms. You'll travel to the depths of the oceans and fly high above towering glaciers and mountains. You will see, hear, feel and smell the planet as it was millions of years ago and how it might be in the future. For more information, visit www.dynamicearth.co.uk

The evening includes registration to Dynamic Earth, dinner and transportation.

Edinburgh Military Tattoo
This event is SOLD OUT

The Year 2002 Edinburgh Military Tattoo celebrates over 50 years of music and spectacle set against the world famous backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. The best way to get a feel for what the Tattoo involves is to visit their website at www.edinburgh-tattoo.co.uk, where you will discover highlights of the event, details and facts about the bands and performers over the years, lots of details about Edinburgh Castle and our Scottish Regiments ... plus details of the performance times and dates.

We have reserved a block of 200 tickets and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The plan is to have an early evening meal at the Heriot Watt campus immediately after the afternoon conference sessions. Coaches will take us to the City Centre for about 8pm. After the performance delegates can go off to explore the Festival Fringe or whatever other events catch their eye. From 11pm, Coaches will do a shuttle run to Heriot Watt picking up this group and also the group that goes to the Royal College of Physicians.

Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
The Royal Colleges are responsible for maintenance of standards, postgraduate examinations and much postgraduate medical education in the UK. Many ISPE members are also Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and we hope that many conference delegates will take this opportunity to visit. The College is situated in the New Town district, and the architecture and the building itself are well worth seeing.

The plan is to have an early evening meal at the Heriot Watt campus immediately after the afternoon conference sessions. Coaches will take us to the College for about 8pm. The librarian (Iain Milne) will give a short introductory talk on the history and role of the College, then over a glass of wine, guests will be free to explore. Senior College Fellows will be on hand to act as unofficial guides. They are extremely enthusiastic and delighted to share their detailed knowledge with visitors in this way.

At around 9.30 - 10.00pm, delegates can go off to explore the Festival Fringe or whatever other events catch their eye. From 11pm, Coaches will do a shuttle run to Heriot Watt picking up this group and also the group that goes to the Military Tattoo.

Some more detailed information about the Royal College can be found at: www.rcpe.ac.uk
