HOUSING INFORMATION

The Edinburgh Conference Centre is at Heriot-Watt University. The campus is located about 8 miles from the city centre, 20 minutes by taxi or car and about ½ hour by bus. ISPE has reserved sufficient rooms on campus to accommodate all ICPE participants and their families. The rooms are comfortable, have en suite facilities and are within a short walk of the conference centre. Also, the rooms are reasonably priced and the daily rate includes breakfast. We strongly encourage participants to stay on the university campus, and as an incentive have arranged that the special room rate be available 3 days before and 3 days after the conference.

Remember that during the Edinburgh International Festival in August 2002, other accommodations will be significantly more expensive than those at Heriot-Watt. If, however, you would like to pursue alternative arrangements, which may be either closer to Edinburgh city centre or perhaps more suitable for larger family groups, please contact ISPE's agent:

Housing registration (Heriot-Watt University only) will be available with ICPE meeting registration (mid-April). Please be assured, you will have a room at the conference center at Heriot-Watt University.
