Lisbon Airport/Transportation to Downtown
Lisbon Airport (LIS)
LocationThe airport is five miles (7km) north of Lisbon. The conference hotels are located near the Lisboa Congress Centre and in the downtown area.

Car Rental
The car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt.
Airport Facilities
There are a range of passenger services at Lisbon Airport including ATMs, bureaux de change, showers, a post office, left luggage, baby care facilities, meeting rooms and a help desk in both Arrivals and Departures. There are a wide variety of restaurants and shops, including a duty-free. Disabled facilities are good; passengers requiring wheelchairs should contact their airline.
Transfer City
The Carris Aerobus no 91 runs every day between 7.45am and 8.45pm, connecting Lisbon Airport to the city centre. Tickets at €2.85 giving a day's use of the bus and tram network can be purchased on the bus. A shuttle bus service also operates between the airport and the resorts of Estoril and Cascais. The fare is €7.50 and the service operates between 7am and 10.30pm. Taxi stands are situated outside departures and arrivals. The meter should read €1.95 and the commencement of the ride. Fares are 20% higher on weekends, holidays and at night.

Aerobus
Everyday from 7:45am to 8:15pm every 20 minutes, the Aerobus (Carris n. 91) runs between the Airport and the city centre. Ticket can be purchased on board.
Fare: 1,20€; 3,10€ (1 day ticket); 2,00€ (1 day TAP Voucher)
TAXIS
There are two taxi ranks at the airport: one at the arrivals area and another one at departures. The taximeter should show 2,00 € (daytime) and 2,35 € (night). Outside the city, fares are charged per quilometer. 1,60 € is charged for the transportation of luggage or animals. Before taking a taxi, inquire about the fare*.

Four lines connect several important spots of the city centre and outskirts. There is no direct connection to the Airport.
