Kevin Haynes represented ISPE's student council on behalf of Nicole Hartnell at the ISPE board meeting in Baltimore. Concerns regarding the creation of student chapters, color coding student name badges at meetings, and encouraging annual conference participation were raised. Two student skills workshops will be held in Bordeaux, one by Brian Strom on grant writing, the other by Tom MacDonald on presentation skills. ISPE students gathered for a happy hour at the Mid-Year ISPE meeting in Baltimore.

Pete Cooke, Meaghan Donovan, Ashley Slagle, Christopher Blanchette, Bob Locasale, and Prasun Subedi represented the host University (University of Maryland) and provided insight on Baltimore as well as the pharmacoepidemiology program in Maryland. Soko Setoguchi from Harvard offered a Boston perspective. Kevin Haynes and Charlie Leonard represented the program at the University of Pennsylvania. Aby Oommen provided the international aspect of the society from India. Many of the students are planning on attending the Annual meeting in Bordeaux and look forward to the student social event and the opportunities to network.
