Mission Statement

To promote and advance pharmacoepidemiology (PE) across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries by strengthening research, education, training, and collaborative networks.

Objectives

• Build regional capacity in real-world evidence (RWE) and pharmacoepidemiology through structured education, training, and mentorship.
• Encourage the appropriate use of RWE to support evidence-informed decisions.
• Create a vibrant scientific forum for GCC researchers and stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and develop national and international collaborations.
• Enable cross-country collaborations to strengthen data infrastructure, interoperability, and harmonized standards for real-world data (RWD) and evidence generation.
