Membership Corner – January 2026

The ISPE Membership Committee continues to meet monthly and is working on several initiatives to further engage with our community. We are responsible for the Peer Mentoring Program, the Mentor-Mentee Match Program, and other networking opportunities.

 ISPE Peer Mentoring Program

• The 2025–2026 ISPE Peer Mentoring Program, designed to support professional growth and community-building, kicked off in October 2025 and is bringing together 116 ISPE members across 20 carefully matched peer groups (2 academic, 6 industry, 0 government/regulatory, and 12 mixed sector). Each group of 5–6 peers was matched by career sector, experience level, and meeting availability to create meaningful, relevant connections. Participants are meeting monthly via video chat through May 2026 to exchange advice, broaden perspectives, and strengthen their skills. The Membership Committee is also exploring expanding the program to include students in the following year.

ISPE Mentor-Mentee Match Program

• The ISPE Mentor-Mentee Match program is designed to help ISPE members develop their capabilities and expand their professional networks so that they are better able to fulfill their goals as pharmacoepidemiologists. Currently, there are 86 active mentor-mentee relationships facilitated by this program.

• If you want to learn more about the committee and our activities throughout the year, come join us– all members are welcome. The next membership committee meeting is Monday, February 23 9am EST.  Information about upcoming meetings and events will be posted on the exchange and members can join the membership committee exchange.
