The ISPE Membership Committee hosted another successful “New Member and Early-Stage Career Luncheon” during the 41st ISPE Annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Many thanks to everyone involved:
In addition to providing those in attendance with an overview of ISPE and the benefits of being a member, the luncheon offered opportunities to learn about being more involved in the Society, and networking with more senior members. Through a raffle, two lucky participants won free registration for the 2025 ISPE Annual Meeting to take place in Washington DC. Congratulations Svetlana Eden and Amina Alkhalaf!
ISPE Peer Mentoring Program
After a successful pilot year in 2024/25, the ISPE Peer Mentoring Program for the 2025/26 academic year is underway. We launched a call for registration for the 2025/2026 program in August during the ISPE Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. This program consists of small, carefully coordinated groups of 5-7 peers, matched on career sector, years of experience, and meeting time preferences, when possible. This year there are 115 members divided between 20 peer mentor groups. In October, ISPE Peer Mentoring Subcommittee Co-Chairs Jessica Jalbert and Ghadeer Dawwas hosted two zoom onboarding sessions which were attended by more than 50 individuals. Peer-to-peer mentor groups will meet once per month via video chat from October 2025 to May 2026, for a total of ~8 monthly meetings. Participants in the program are from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America, reflecting the diversity of our Society.
