Membership Corner

• The ISPE Membership Committee hosted another successful “New Member and Early-Stage Career Luncheon” during the 40^th ISPE Annual meeting in Berlin. Many thanks to everyone involved:
  • First time ISPE Annual Meeting attendees and early-stage career ISPE members for attending and considering active involvement with our Society
  • Senior members of the Society, including the ISPE President, Lisa Pont, for taking time out of their busy schedules to serve as table leads and providing guidance to newcomers to the ISPE Annual meeting
  • Membership Committee members, Erin Maas, and Kellen for helping organize the event and ensuring its success.

  In addition to providing those in attendance with an overview of ISPE and the benefits of being a member, the luncheon offered opportunities to learn about being more involved in the Society, and networking with more senior members. Through a raffle, two lucky participants won free registration for the 2025 ISPE Annual Meeting to take place in Washington DC. Congratulations Julie Rigoureau and Flo Olofin!

• Member Benefit Spotlight with every ISPE Insights newsletter, the Membership Corner will highlight one of the benefits of being an ISPE member. In this edition, we are happy to announce the start of the ISPE Peer Mentoring Program. Following the 40th ISPE Annual Meeting in Berlin, the Society launched a pilot program developed by the Membership Committee. Through the program, over 80 ISPE members were matched on career sector and years of experience in groups of 5-7 peers; the groups will meet monthly and will be provided with career development opportunities while allowing members to enhance professional skills, broaden perspectives, and build a supportive community within ISPE. For the inaugural class of the ISPE Peer Mentoring Program members are drawn from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America, reflecting the diversity of our Society.
