Virtual Mentor Match Event – Save the Date!
We are excited to highlight the upcoming ISPE Virtual Mentor Match Event, a 90?minute Zoom session designed to give members a “speed?matching” experience of the Mentor Match program. This interactive event will be held on June 15 at 3:00 pm EDT and June 16 at 7:00 am EDT to accommodate members across time zones. Participants will spend time in small breakout rooms with senior members of the Society, including Fellows of ISPE (FISPE), representing academia, industry, and government. The format allows attendees to rotate between rooms to maximize conversations and gain experience connecting with potential mentors and mentees in a supportive environment. ISPE leadership will provide brief opening remarks to set the stage before networking begins. Register for June 15th HERE and sign up for June 16th HERE.
Use ISPE Exchange to Connect Year?Round
The virtual Mentor Match event offers a live introduction to mentoring, and we anticipate that it is followed by establishing mentor?mentee connections through our primary platform the ISPE Exchange. We encourage all members to log in to ISPE Exchange HERE and ensure their profiles are up to date, including whether you are open to mentoring or seeking a mentor. Taking a few minutes to review your communication/notification preferences is also important so you do not miss messages from potential mentors or mentees.
An Update on our Peer Mentoring Program
The Peer Mentoring Program will be expanded to include student members in the future. More information will be shared about the next iteration of the Peer Mentoring Program around the annual ISPE conference – stay tuned!
