Membership Committee October 2026 Updates

Membership Committee @ ISPE Milan

The ISPE Membership Committee hosted another successful “New Member and Early-Stage Career Luncheon” at the 42nd ISPE Annual Meeting in Milan. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the event’s success:

• First-time Annual Meeting attendees and early-stage career members who joined us and expressed interest in becoming more involved with ISPE
• Senior Society members who took time from their busy schedules to serve as table leads and offer guidance to those attending the ISPE Annual Meeting for the first time
• Membership Committee members and the Impact team, including Hannah, for organizing the luncheon and helping make it a success.

The luncheon gave attendees an overview of ISPE, highlighted the benefits of membership, and shared ways to get more involved in the Society. It also provided an opportunity to connect with senior members. As part of a raffle, two participants received complimentary registration for the 2027 ISPE Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA. Congratulations to Yu-Tung Huang and Monica Iyer!

ISPE Peer Mentoring Program
The ISPE Peer Mentoring Program for the 2026/27 academic year is underway. We launched a call for registration for the 2026/2027 program in August during the ISPE Annual Meeting in Milan and on LinkedIn in September. This program consists of small, carefully coordinated groups of 5-7 peers, matched on career sector, years of experience, and meeting time preferences, when possible. This year, there are 95 members divided between 15 peer mentor groups, including 8 groups dedicated to students and post-doctoral fellows. ISPE Peer Mentoring Subcommittee Co-Chairs Sruthi Adimadhyam and Ghadeer Dawwas will host two Zoom onboarding sessions on October 13-14 for all participants in the program. Peer-to-peer mentor groups will meet once per month via video chat from October 2026 to May 2027, for a total of ~8 monthly meetings. Participants in the program are from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America, reflecting the diversity of our Society.

Membership Committee meeting
The Membership Committee meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. ET. All members are welcome to join these meetings to learn more about the committee and our activities throughout the year. Meeting details will be posted on the Exchange.
